The Recruit Trail is a private recruiting organization tool for student-athletes and their families. It is offered free, by invitation, during a private beta. Features may change, and the beta may end.
The Recruit Trail is not a recruiting marketplace, exposure platform, or advisor. We do not contact coaches on your behalf, and nothing in the app is a prediction of admission, roster spots, scholarships or offers. Fit labels, rankings and notes are your own assessments. Follow the rules of your sport's governing bodies about recruiting contact.
A parent or guardian should create the family account and is responsible for a minor athlete's use. Keep your password private. Only invite people you trust to your family workspace; invited parents can see and edit all athlete workspaces in the family.
You own the information you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. Do not enter information you don't have the right to record, false information about others, or sensitive personal data such as health or financial account details.
Recruiting intelligence entries and school notes are private family records. Mark how confident you are and where information came from; a link alone does not make information confirmed. Do not use the service to harass or publish information about other athletes.
You may export your data and share your Target List. You are responsible for what you choose to share and with whom.
Directory details come from official listings where available and are labeled with a verification status and date. They may be incomplete or out of date; check with the school before relying on them.
The service relies on hosting, database, sign-in and storage providers. Links to school or event websites go to sites we do not control.
You may request account deletion from Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service or put other families' privacy at risk.
The beta is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for recruiting outcomes or for decisions made using information in the app. Please keep your own copies of important records.
Beta families receive complimentary access while the beta program runs. A future public trial will offer 7 days of full functionality per athlete with no credit card required. Lifetime Athlete Access will be a one-time purchase ($249 USD) covering one athlete workspace, with no recurring subscription, shared by every authorized parent in the family.
"Lifetime" means for as long as The Recruit Trail service operates, including after the athlete graduates. It is not a promise that the service will operate forever. Reasonable storage and usage limits apply. If the service is ever discontinued, we intend to give advance notice and a way to export your data. You can export your data at any time. Refund terms will be published before purchasing opens. Payments are not active today.
We will post updated terms here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
